Danyal Imani is an Iranian visual artist based in Vancouver, BC. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Simon Fraser University, and has exhibited throughout Vancouver including, the Burnaby Art Gallery, SFU Audain Gallery, and Surrey Art Gallery. In 2018, three of his paintings were selected as public art murals in Downtown Vancouver’s Eihu Lane. 

Imani’s paintings are primarily an exploration of colour and pattern making. In his paintings, patterns express abstract elements of everyday life, interacting to evoke memories and connect with the subconscious. Through material communication, Imani’s paintings serve as small archives of larger moments in his life.
