Why is it Special?
Vitra's Colour Frame mirror captivates with its unrestrained use of colour: each side of its rectangular wooden frame is painted in a different hue. The four sides are each designed in different hues, with two brightly coloured versions and one understated model available per size. The depth of the frame makes it a useful storage shelf for small utensils, such as keys or eyewear, or a display surface for small decorative objects.
Designed by Julie Rochoz, the Colour Frames are reminiscent of colourful wooden building blocks. Just like those blocks, several mirrors can be arranged together on the wall both horizontally and vertically – like building blocks – to create individual compositions with interacting colours.
