Design legend Alvar Aalto’s asymmetrical waves (“aalto” in Finnish) have become a timeless symbol of Nordic interior design since premiering at the 1937 Paris World Fair. Iittala’s newest Aalto vase was found in the archives and is the rarest of the three vase designs that were part of the original production run in 1937. Each unique glass vase is made from a wooden mould and is mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland. The limited edition 2021 vases are available in four appealing colours.
